Rose Grant was born and bred in Wiltshire. Her Grandmother, Pay Grant was a renowned character and sheep farmer in the Chalke Valley, West of Salisbury, where her Uncle still farms.
Rose grew up on a small holding in South Wiltshire and has always had a passion for animals and, in particular, horses. She was a keen Wilton Pony Club team member, enjoying success in Tetrathalon and Eventing at National Championships.
After an education at South Wilts Grammar School, Rose studied a year of architecture and planning at Bristol before attaining a first class honours degree from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester which included a work placement for Event Rider Master, European series.
Rose has been immersed in equestrianism her whole life. Her passion for horses has taken her around the world, working for top level event riders at events such as Badminton, driving HGV’s through Europe, as well as working in Kenya with a horse safari company and Zambia with polo ponies. Rose enjoys all riding disciplines and has competed up to 2* Eventing. Any spare time is spent with her own event horses or producing and selling young Connemara’s.
Rose recently joined Fox Grant as a Rural Negotiator. She brings a wealth of constantly expanding knowledge of all things equine. Her contacts and genuine interest in architecture and property make an exciting and enthusiastic addition to the Team.
