Choose an agent that’s passionate about their work and has genuine Country House & Rural property knowledge. The market is particularly tricky and 2025 will require all of the Estate Agents tool kit and experience to get sales agreed and across the line with Solicitors and Brokers. Choose an Agent that genuinely understands the market and can offer knowledgeable pre-sales advice.
Talk to the Agent and ensure you are confident in their abilities and approach. Ask for comparable sales locally and ensure they listen. Communication is key, many agents give you no feedback. Don’t be influenced by just low commission rates alone, agents who can’t negotiate a fair fee are never going to be able to negotiate the BEST PRICE on your BIGGEST ASSET. A good Agent will obtain the best price possible for your property and cover there fee many times over as minimising the stress of a typical sale.
