Rose Grant was born and bred in Wiltshire. Her Grandmother, Pay Grant was a renowned character and sheep farmer in the Chalke Valley, West of Salisbury, where her Uncle still farms.

Liz grew up on the family farm in Herefordshire. After leaving the Bishop’s of Hereford, Bluecoat School, Liz attended Hereford College of Agriculture where she took a Farm Secretarial Course.
