The Fox Grant Farms & Estates Department aims to provide specialist advice from experts on the valuation of equestrian property. Our valuers have a depth of knowledge unrivalled by mainstream agents. We are land agents as well as estate agents and understand the relative values that equestrian assets (stabling, arenas, gallops, outbuildings etc.) add to a property’s overall value when marketed.
We offer guidance on pre-marketing presentation and advice on areas ripe for planning to enhance your site. We will always seek to maximise value for you as a seller. If a site is for immediate sale, we will flag up its potential subject to planning. If the sale is several months ahead, we often work with our clients to advise them in conjunction with our planning consultants, on what additions would most underpin value and interest.
Above all, the marketing of each property is tailored to suit and where equestrian, will normally include specialist advertising. We consult with our clients in advance to agree strategy and throughout the sales process to feedback on progress. It helps that our brochures in particular attract much praise for presentation. Dressage & Showing Liz Langford of our Ledbury team is a keen sportswoman and equestrian specialist. Liz competes at British Dressage events on her home bred horse Tyson’s Diamond Cove and does Showing at county level – both inhand and ridden. Liz is also a prolific horse judge overseeing classes across the UK.
