SALISBURY - Born in Bristol, Alan enjoyed success in retail and sales after finishing his education, working his way up to senior management with a number of companies.

After meeting his wife, he moved to Wiltshire and developed a local business bringing them into the heart of the local community whilst they brought up their two children.

In 1999 they diversified into property development, building new houses, converting, renovating and refurbishing old properties - the most recent of which being a substantial Grade II listed farmhouse set in 10 acres.
