SALISBURY - Born and educated in Yorkshire, Susan Grant is the daughter of a dairy farmer and traditionally involved with the Young Farmers Club.

Experience - After four years in banking with HSBC and time spent travelling in New Zealand, Susan attended Sparsholt College before becoming a National Farmers Union (NFU) Group Secretary and Junior Partner to David Daukes in the NFU Mutual North Hampshire Agency. Susan progressed to Group Secretary for Gloucester, Stroud & Wheatenhurst Branches of the NFU and Senior Partner for the corresponding NFU Mutual Insurance Agency until 1995.

Hobbies - With a new daughter Susan spent more time at home and ran a mail order mapping business for a number of years. With the arrival of son George in 2002, Susan splits her time between the office and her busy family home, along with supporting various Pony Club events across the West Country.
